MUSIC ACROSS BORDERS: ALASH ENSEMBLE

Blues meets Tuvan throat singing this March with Music Across Borders: Alash Ensemble presented by American Voices. Central Asia-based Alash Ensemble will travel across the world to Missouri, where the trio will perform traditional Tuvan folk music with influences from Western music genres. Alash’s performance will be followed by a collaboration with St. Louis’ own blues singer, Brian Owens, and L.I.F.E. Arts. Both groups will astound crowds at this FREE performance on Thursday, March 14 at the Kranzberg Arts Center. A show – and combination of cultures – not to be missed!
